Making its debut in 2008 and intended to match competitors like the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe was designed as a rear-wheel drive sports coupe. Although it was both stylish and powerful, the Genesis failed to compete against better-known brands like Ford and Chevrolet, which led Hyundai to stop production in 2016. However, rumor has it that Hyundai has launched a luxury brand known as Genesis Motors and will revamp and relaunch an all-new Genesis in the next few years!

Originally priced at $27,000, the Genesis Coupe was an affordable sports car that held its value with only a 20.2% depreciation rate after the first year, which brought its value to approximately $21,500. With many Coupes still on the market today and the rumors around the new luxury line, there’s a lot of hype around preowned models with older models priced between $8,000 and $9,000 and newer models averaging around $14,000 to $16,000.
